Local Lands
This poster was part of a series of 40+ posters called Local Lands. St. Louis graphic designers contributed their designs to represent some of our favorite parks, greenways, and trails in the region. Proceeds benefited River City Outdoors and The National Parks Foundation.
My posters represents the Brickline Greenway, which is a developing project that will eventually connect four of the major parks in St. Louis City in the North, East, South, and West. It runs through urban city scapes, parks, neighborhoods, and more. It aims to bring our communities together and provide an equitable means of transportation and recreation for our city and to all parts of our city.
Each designer was allowed to choose up to four colors from a standard color palette to create some visual consistency between the posters. A unique design challenge was that green was not in the palette, even though these posters were highlighting the green sapces in and around the city.
