The Piano Bar is Hermann’s first Piano Bar. An opportunity in the marketplace for late night entertainment, spirits, and fare, the owner wanted to create a vibrant place that feels inviting for locals and tourists alike. The client’s vision for the overall bar’s aesthetic was, “Mostly smoky, jazz, dark, classy, James Bond.” Through the branding and identity, I aimed for a tasteful and classic approach. I wanted the design to pay homage to the historical town where it’s located, but still feel like a place where young people would want to spend an evening with friends.
